Who is live-in care for?
Clarendon Live-in care is for people who wish to remain living at home independently while also having the safety and reassurance of round-the-clock care from a fully trained professional. The service is designed to be as flexible as you want it to be, meaning that you might have a close friendship with your carer or you may just want them to be on hand at the specific times you need help the most.
Live-in care allows people that use the service to stay in control of their life, keep up with their hobbies, interests, and routines and to maintain relationships with their family, friends, neighbours and their wider community. We provide live-in care for adults of all ages across Surrey and South West London. We look after people with many different health conditions, each of whom require very specific skills and often innovative ways to meet their needs.
Whether it’s specialist dementia care you’re looking for or perhaps some support to prevent a loved one from becoming isolated, Clarendon Live-in Care will help you to first compile the right care plan and then find the ideal carer to suit you. Making the decision to ask for help at home can be frightening and full of uncertainty. Because of that, we’ll never rush or pressure you. Instead, we’ll be available when you need us to answer questions, to help you understand what live-in care involves and to provide you with whatever information you need to help you make an informed decision on your future.

Personal Care
Many of our clients can still manage much of their personal care themselves while others need far more support. Whatever your needs, we can help. Whether it is just a matter of prompting you to do things yourself or whether it is providing full support, your live-in carer will be on hand to provide whatever care you need in order to carry on living independently at home.

Falls
Many of our clients are concerned about the possibility of falling and this can often be a cause of anxiety for loved ones. Live-in care can help alleviate these worries. Not only will your live-in carer help assist with tasks that may have previously resulted in falls but should the worst occur, they will be on-hand to raise the alarm and get help without delay.

Help in the home
If keeping on top of the housework has started to feel like a struggle, live-in care can really help. Our live-in carers regularly support clients with housework, laundry and shopping as well as everyday cooking tasks. Live-in care can help take the anxiety out of those little jobs around the home so that you can go about your day free to do the things you enjoy with the people you love.

Loss of confidence
Accepting the need for care can result in a dip in confidence and make you feel like you are no longer coping. Like anything else in life though, sometimes all it takes is a little bit of encouragement or assistance in order to make all the difference. Even if it’s just a reassuring word or a second pair of hands, your live-in carer will work with you to promote your independence and keep you as active around the home.
