Live-In Care for Mrs J.W. - Epsom, Surrey
Live-In Care Case Study
We supported Mrs J.W for the last 18 months of her life in her own home. It was a great privalage to be able to help and support Mrs J.W during our time with her. In this case Rosemary and Kira helped the family.
Our carers are trained to make sure all our clients are receiving the best care and services they need but they are also wonderful and considerate people. We believe matching our clients with carers who will improve their life and benefit their happiness.
What Mrs J.W's family say
“I would like to thank you for making it possible for my mother to stay in her own home for the last 18 months of her life. I would be grateful if you would pass on my thanks to Rosemary (the live-in carer) who was so good with Mum. She rose to a great challenge and never gave up. Secondly, my thanks to our second live-in carer Kira who was just the most perfect person for the last few days of Mum’s life, so creative and caring and always understanding what should be done.”
How Can We Help Your Family?
We provide each family with a range of different services, depending on their unique needs. These can be tasks such as:
Your live in carer will be on hand to assist with any personal care tasks you may need support with such as bathing, showering, toileting and dressing, all in the comfort of your own home. They’ll follow your routines and provide personal care in the way that is most comfortable for you.
The anxiety caused by a fear of falling can be alleviated by the round-the-clock presence of a live-in carer who is trained in all aspects of mobility issues and manual handling. Our live in carers regularly help people to regain lost movement and mobility by working closely with them on a daily basis.
Help in the home
Our live in carers support our clients as much or as little as they want with housework, laundry, shopping and preparing meals. They can also run errands and help get you out and about. Live in care lets people worry less about the little things while spending more time with family and friends.
Loss of confidence
Like anything else in life, sometimes a little encouragement or assistance can make all the difference. Whether it’s a reassuring word or a second pair of hands, your live in carer works with you to promote your independence and the way you choose to live your life.
